Ken Johnson (keyboards) started playing piano at the age of four. At 13, he bought a Fender Rhodes, formed a cover band, and has been gigging ever since. He first discovered the power of the blues during a B.B. King concert in Chautauqua New York.

In addition to the blues, his musical performance resume covers a wide spectrum including, musical theater, jazz, Dixieland, big band and rock. He has performed locally with Third Degree, After Hours Blues Band, Woody Johnson, Bourgeois Blues Band as well as recording with blues harmonica artist Gus Stagg. He enjoys performing with the Slackdaddies and the opportunity to rub elbows with Koko Taylor and other Chicago blues legends. He thanks his parents, family, friends, teachers and fellow musicians for supporting his passion the past four decades.
